The approximate measurements are in inches which may included the bust, waist, hips, leg length, inseam and rise of a garment. The approximate measurements include what an item can fit from and up to depending on the elasticity of the fabric or if a waistband includes elastic and a drawstring.

As each garment is handmade, whether it is tie dye or patchwork, the patterns, colors and placements will vary for all as each one made is to be considered ‘one of a kind’ as no two pairs will ever be identical. The pictures are used for reference to show the style and the fit of the garment only.

The item you receive may have brighter or duller colors, more colors placed in an area than others, white showing through tie dye items, tie dye patterns being different than the images, patchwork items may have more color placements and patterns than others as they are made from recycled pieces, etc.

Actual product color may vary from the images shown. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color. Ordinary Selenophile cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the product.

The postal carrier must go through a thorough investigation to locate the package prior to any updates being given. Please allow some time for them to investigate the matter.

There are NO REIMBURSEMENTS from Ordinary Selenophile for any lost, stolen or delayed mail. Any reimbursement that is given must be done by the postal carrier after a thorough investigation has been completed and they have concluded that they cannot locate the package.

Please do not file any claims for lost, stolen or delayed mail unless the postal service advises you to do so as claims may be considered fraudulent which is illegal.

If your tracking number states delivered however you have not received it, your package:

• May have accidentally been delivered to a neighbors
• The postal service may mark your package as delivered and deliver it within 48 hours
• Your package is being held at a local facility
• You entered the wrong shipping address when placing your order

All couriers have an exact GPS location of where your package was delivered to. They can show you in person if you choose to go to your local courier facility and speak with them directly.

Ordinary Selenophile will not file any package insurance claims. It is the buyers responsibility to get in contact with the courier in regards to any claims.

If you believe your package has been stolen, you must contact the courier to stop all mail from being delivered to your address until the matter is resolved. You will also need to contact your local authorities to report "mail fraud". All mail will be paused from being delivered to your address until the matter is investigated further.

THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENTS FROM ORDINARY SELENOPHILE FOR ANY LOST OR STOLEN MAIL - zero exceptions. The postal service is to reimburse for a lost package if it was at their expense as packages are insured. If your package was stolen, the authorities will need to investigate the matter to retrieve your goods.

All garments are thoroughly checked for flaws. With that being said, flaws can be missed at times. Due to the garments being handmade, and most made out of recycled fabrics, minor imperfections may occur and are to be expected.

Any package shipped to Ordinary Selenophile after 48 hours of receiving the return label will be returned back to you as your exchange will no longer be accepted.

Please note that if, and only if, an exchange or reimbursement is discussed or given, that is up to my discretion only and it will vary on a case per case basis. There is no guarantee you will be able to exchange or be reimbursed. The garment must be returned with the tag still attached. If the tag is removed from your garment, your exchange or return will be denied. If, and only if, a reimbursement is discussed, as well as given, it will be given in the form of store credit only by a virtual gift card. Please note that your inquiry may not be accepted for an exchange or reimbursement for store credit - this is to be expected. 

A restocking fee is charged to a customer when merchandise is accepted for an exchange/store credit without a flaw or for any garment returned with a flaw that is past the time frame stated on the return policy.

If you have an exchange, or return for store credit that has been accepted, a restock fee will apply.

The following list are ways to keep the item in rotation, that did not work out for you, to help save this planet one day at a time ♻️ As well, this list includes ways to potentially make your money back to avoid a restock fee: 

• Donate the garment to an organization in need 

• Gift the item to a friend 

• Resell the garment on a third party site 

• Take the garment to a local seamstress 

RESTOCKING FEE DETAILS:

• 30% of the item(s) cost will be deducted from the store credit given.

• The return shipping label cost will be deducted from the store credit given or deducted from the exchange cost.

Example:

Item Cost - 30% of the item cost - Shipping Cost to return = Store Credit Total

If exchanging, you as the customer will have to pay the remaining balance of the garment total, and the new shipping cost of the garment you are exchanging for, prior to your new garment being shipped.

Friendly reminder that only store credit will be given. There will be no refunds back to the card you used to place your order. There are no exceptions.

Packages may be returned to sender due to a variety of different reasons.

• Insufficient Address on your order

• Not including apartment numbers on your order

• Not paying for customs duties and taxes upon delivery (international only)

• A marking on the label during shipping that prevents the address from being seen

• Per the customers request, a package being held at a local post office that is not picked up for more than 10 days

• Missing mail that was found and returned to sender

In the event that your package has to been returned to sender to reship, the shipping cost for the new shipment must be paid for by the customer prior to your package being reshipped if it was a customer error.

If the package was returned to sender due to a post office or delivery driver error, the shipping cost to resend the package will be covered by Ordinary Selenophile.

In the event that your package is returned to the sender a second time, or you refused the package for not wanting to pay international fees, there will be no reimbursements, returns, exchanges or store credit given. All reimbursements must be taken up with your local post office during this time.

RESTOCK FEES WILL APPLY.
30% of your item(s) total will be deducted from the store credit given if your package is returned to a sender a second time and you have requested a refund. If your package is accepted for a refund, this will be given in store credit, minus the restocking fee, in the form of a virtual gift card.
