THE JOURNEY:
I have always had a love for vintage, secondhand, and thrifted groovy items. Whether that be home decor, accessories, clothing, furniture, shoes, you name it ~ I was thrifting since the time I was old enough to walk thanks to my amazing family. Fast forward to years down the road and the popularity, as well as awareness, for secondhand and slow sustainable fashion has grown tremendously, as fast fashion is a detriment to our environment.
Ordinary Selenophile was first a place to repurpose secondhand, thrifted, & personal items. That’s when Ordinary Selenophile started to bloom. After years of traveling & going to music festivals, I fell in love with this fashion for myself and what it meant. This type of plant based 🌿 natural fiber 🌿 raw material fashion at the time was not available online in many places, only internationally at store fronts, vending events & music festivals. I wanted to bring this fashion to many across the world who did not have access to this style of fashion. Along with continuing to repurpose secondhand & vintage fashion, items you will find here include exclusive designs by Ordinary Selenophile. As well, Ordinary Selenophile follows fair trade practices and works directly with the fair trade productions teams across the world to supply you with the most whimsical, bohemian, hippie, western slow sustainable fashion.
🪡🧵 Frequent size ranges you will find here are XXS-3X, with certain items being 4X - 6X, along with ‘Free Size’ items. I try to stay as size inclusive as I can while keeping up with modern sustainable fashion items. Every BODY is beautiful ✨
