RUSHED ORDERS • DOMESTIC ONLY: Note: Rushed orders for a specific event must be placed 7 business days prior the event date to ensure the package will arrive in time with any postal delays.
All music festival, holiday, event, or specific date needed orders must be placed as a rushed order, even if purchasing ahead of time before the festival order deadlines.
HOW TO PLACE A RUSHED ORDER:
Before checkout, please tap the shopping bag, in the right hand corner at the top of the website, to view your cart. Beneath your order items that you have added to your cart, there will be a white box located in your cart that says ‘order special instructions’. Please type a note, in the ‘order special instructions’ box, that says “Rushed Shipping” & the date that you need your item by.

USPS First Class: 4 to 7 business days
USPS Priority Mail: 2 to 5 business days

Please do keep in mind that postal delays & holidays will affect these times frames. The estimated delivery time, once a package has left my possession, depends on the shipping you purchased at checkout (First class • Priority Mail • Priority Mail Express). You do not have to choose ’Priority Mail Express’ shipping for rushed orders however please choose ‘Priority Mail Express’ shipping for 1-4 business day delivery, or if ordering less than 7 days prior to the date you need it by.
After you place a rushed order: Your package will be shipped out the same day / following day. If your order is placed after 4PM EST, your package will ship the following day.
If you forgot to add rushed shipping to your order: Please contact through the contact form as soon as possible to inform me that your order is a rushed order. The contact form can be located in the menu bar.
Please note that if you decide to upgrade your shipping to a quicker shipping option than what you have already purchased, shipping label upgrades can only be done if your package has not shipped. A fee will apply for all shipping upgrades. This is only if you want to change your shipping label to upgraded shipping.
If you do not leave a note in your order beforehand in the ‘order special instructions’ box that says ‘rushed shipping‘, your package will ship out within the same frame as domestic shipping which is currently 7-14 business days.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 📦 Please note that the shipping rates at checkout are standard real time postal rates based off of the weight of the entire package and location of where the package is being delivered to. Shipping for international packages can vary often. The shipping rates at checkout are standard shipping rates therefore if shipping is less than what you paid for at checkout, you will be refunded the shipping difference.

The buyer is is responsible for paying any duties, taxes or postage fees that are due upon delivery of your package. Please purchase responsibly with this knowledge. NO THIRD PARTY PURCHASES: If you live in a country located outside of the United States, or if you are located in the United States, and you place an order from one country, however the shipping address, as well as billing address, is located in another country, your order will be canceled.
If you make a purchase from Ordinary Selenophile to gift to someone who lives outside of your origin country, you must have the package shipped to you. You can then take the package to your local delivery office and purchase a new shipping label through them to ship the package to the country that you are sending the gift to. There will be absolutely no third party orders allowed.
WRONG ADDRESS: Please contact through the 'Contact' form so it can be changed. ('Contact' form can located in the menu bar).
Addresses can only be changed for packages that have not been shipped. Most packages will return back to me, the sender, if the address is wrong. If that is the case I will reship the package out to you with the correct address once it has been returned to me. Please note a fee will apply if a new shipping label has to be purchased.
LOST / STOLEN / DAMAGED / DELAYED PACKAGES: Once a package has left my possession the shipping provider is responsible for the package. All packages are insured in the event that it is lost, stolen, damaged, or delayed.
If packages are lost, stolen, damaged, or delayed during shipping, please contact your local shipping provider for more details. (Examples of shipping providers: USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL, etc.) The shipping provider used for your specific package can be found in the shipping confirmation email along with your tracking number. All shipping providers have a location on their websites to find a local facility phone number and address.
DELAYED PACKAGES: Postal delays can happen at times. Please do allow some time for all packages to be delivered once it has been shipped. If the tracking number does not say ‘Delivered’, and the package has been in transit for for 10 business days or longer, please contact through the ‘Contact’ form, located in the menu bar. I will contact the shipping provider for you regarding this matter. Please note that this is only for packages that do not say delivered on the tracking number.
IF THE TRACKING NUMBER STATES ‘DELIVERED’ HOWEVER YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT: The shipping provider used to ship your package is responsible for the package once it has left the possession of Ordinary Selenophile. You, as the buyer, are responsible for contacting your local shipping provider regarding this matter.
The information regarding which shipping provider, that was used to ship your package, can be found in your shipping confirmation email. (Examples of shipping providers: USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL, etc). Please view the shipping providers website and search your local location with your zip code to locate your local shipping providers phone number and address to your local shipping facility.
Please note that there are times when postal services mark packages as delivered before they have been delivered. Please allow a 1-2 business day grace period for your package to be delivered. If your package has still not been delivered after the 1-2 days, please contact your local shipping provider.
If you are unable to locate your local shipping providers phone number, or address, please contact through the contact form stating you cannot locate it and I will provide you with their phone number and address. It is then your responsibility to get in contact with them regarding this matter.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Each shipping provider has an exact GPS location of where your package was delivered to. They will be able to show you in person, or tell you over the phone, where your package was delivered to.
If you, as well as the local post office, believe your package was stolen, you will have to contact your local authorities to report ‘Mail Fraud’. As well, your local shipping provider must be contacted by you as they will have to put a hold on all mail deliveries to your address until the issue is resolved.
MISSING PACKAGE CLAIMS: Please DO NOT file any claims until you have spoken with your local shipping provider directly. This ensures that the above steps have been followed, as well as ensuring that the claim being made is not fraudulent.

Order Cancellations: Orders must be canceled within 10 minutes of your purchase. Please be sure to contact through the following link: CONTACT FORM , within 10 minutes after your purchase, with your: name, order number, and the reason for the cancellation. If contacted regarding a cancellation after 10 minutes, your order will not be canceled. This is to be expected.
TIPS FOR SHOPPING AT ORDINARY SELENOPHILE: Before purchasing any item, please be sure to read the approximate measurements in the descriptions of each item, as well as all the drop down menus & policies located underneath the description of the items, to ensure there is no information missed.

Due to all garments being handmade, they are to be considered ‘one of a kind’ as no two garments will be identical. Please do note that the measurements provided are approximate. Due to the approximate measurements, disclaimers & policies being included in the descriptions of all items, there are no refunds, exchanges or returns, for these reasons.
GIFT, DONATE, RESELL: If an item does not work out for you, please do not hesitate to:
• Gift the item away
• Donate the item to an organization in need- please remember that most thrifts stores are overfilled and items donated may end up in the landfill. If choosing to donate, please reach out to the organization you will be donating to, to ensure they are not full, to help prevent waste.
• Or you can resell the item on a third party selling app

FLAWS: Although most garments at Ordinary Selenophile are handmade ethically sourced slow sustainable fashion, that does not mean garments may not be delicate. Please handle each item with care.
Imperfections that ARE NOT to be considered ‘flaws’ include, but are not limited to:
• Loose Threads
• Pin Holes / Price Tag or Vending Tag Pin Holes
• Transparancy of an item
• Garments not being identical to the picture- due to items being handmade slow sustainable fashion, items are to be considered ‘one of a kind’ - the pictures are only used for reference to show the style & fit of the garment
• Faded Colors
• Colors not being as bright as the pictures - due to the lighting conditions at the time of all pictures, as well as all monitors portraying different colors, Ordinary Selenophile cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the item.
• Different patterns, colors & placements
• Any flaw to a garment after it has been worn
• Colors Varying
• Garments not fitting you correctly - please refer to all the approximate measurements, per each garment, in their descriptions underneath the pictures.
• Holes smaller than a pencil eraser
• Fabrics being uncomfortable
• Overlooking descriptions & policies
• Markings smaller than a pencil eraser, etc.
All garments are thoroughly checked for flaws. With that being said, flaws can be missed at times. Due to the garments being handmade, and most made out of recycled fabrics, minor imperfections may occur and are to be expected.
If there is an issue with your garment, that is not stated above, please contact through the contact form in the menu bar within 24 hours of your package being delivered. We will discuss the issue and discuss how to move forward.
Please note that if, and only if, an exchange or reimbursement is discussed or given, that is up to my discretion only and it will vary on a case per case basis. There is no guarantee you will be able to exchange or be reimbursed. If, and only if, a reimbursement is discussed, as well as given, it will be given in the form of store credit only by a virtual gift card. Please note that your inquiry may not be accepted for an exchange or reimbursement for store credit - this is to be expected.
Please be sure to read all descriptions, policies and drop down menus of each item before purchasing to ensure there was not information that was overlooked or missed. Thank you for understanding.

IF YOUR TRACKING NUMBER STATES IT WAS DELIVERED HOWEVER YOU DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE: If your package tracking number states it was delivered to you, however you have not received it, you as the receiver are responsible for contacting your local shipping provider to find out where they have left your package. The postal service that was used to ship your package can be located in your tracking confirmation email. (USPS, UPS, FEDEX, etc).
